William Fulgentes' early initiation to judo at the age of 6 laid the foundation for his athletic journey. The addition of wrestling to his repertoire at the age of 8 showcased his eagerness to explore various sports. By the time he turned 10, football became the next chapter in William's diverse athletic experiences, emphasizing his enthusiasm for physical fitness.

Attending Royal High School became an essential point in William's athletic career. Achieving the status of a 4x league champion highlighted his consistent demonstration of outstanding skills and determination. A defining moment occurred in his sophomore year when he secured 2nd place at CIF, marking a significant milestone.

Unfortunately, the circumstances of the Covid-19 Pandemic prevented William from participating in wrestling during his junior year. His ability to adapt and overcome adversity was evident in the absence of competitive wrestling opportunities.

Undeterred by challenges, William continued to elevate his performance through his senior year. Notable accomplishments included a 3rd place at CIF and a 4th place at the Masters, solidifying his position as a top-tier wrestler. These achievements also earned him the qualification for the State Championships.

By the culmination of his high school wrestling career, William had imprinted his name among the top 10 wrestlers in the state. His journey stands as evidence to the values of eagerness, hard work, and sportsmanship.
